MAR 1st Sun Miura International Marathon Miura International Marathon is held at the beginning of March every year.
The race starts from Miura Kaigan Beach and there are three course types the 5km, the 3km and half course.
Anyone can join the event.
The non-marathon event is also full of enjoyment. Miura Umaimonoichi(Delious Food Market) has many kinds of food booths open. Everyone can enjoy this event. This marathon is a sister race of the Honolulu Marathon.
APR Early Misaki God of Food Festival The ceremony to honor Japanese kitchen knife by Yonjo Koryu headmaster and memorial service for fish, flesh and fowl take place at Kainan Shrine, Misaki.

MAY Last Sun Kasagake (mounted archery) Dosun Festival This ceremony for the repose of the souls of the Miura clan,who died out in the muromachi period,is held at Aburatsubo Araihama on the last Sunday in May each year.
The festival includes Kasagake ―old archery and horsemanship techniques passed down from the Miura clan.
